Wenger’s side beat Everton 3-1 but victories for Liverpool and Manchester City on the final day of the Premier League campaign meant they finished fifth with 75 points and will have no Champions League football next season. Once again some fans inside the Emirates Stadium held up placards calling for Wenger to step down, as well as some criticising American majority shareholder Stan Kroenke. Wenger, who took over in 1996 and won three Premier League titles for the north London club – the last in 2004 – and six FA Cups is out of contract at the end of the season....

For last week, our sleeper picks were somewhat of a mixed bag. At RB, Sony Michel was decent, but Corey Clement and Latavius Murray didn’t produce despite volume opportunities. Our QBs were pretty good, as Ryan Fitzpatrick and Alex Smith both performed as a solid clip, and Geronimo Allison represented our receivers well. Unfortunately, Antonio Callaway was unable to put up big numbers because of Tyrod Taylor’s inability to connect with him on downfield opportunities....

This week, there are a couple of major byes at the kicker position, as Matt Prater (Lions) and Wil Lutz (Saints) are off. Both are popular plays in fantasy – Prater for his leg, Lutz for his opportunities, both because they play indoors – so replacing them this week will be critical. Of course, don’t make the mistake of keeping two kickers on your roster at any point (with a possible exception for Justin Tucker)....

And while our RB handcuff chart once again got a fresh update after last week’s injuries and developments, the top of the rankings remains familiar with guys like Todd Gurley, Melvin Gordon, and Kareem Hunt. Sony Michel is making his first top-five appearance with a favorable matchup against the Chiefs (yes, we’re trusting a Patriots back…what’s wrong with us?), and Dalvin Cook (hamstring) looks to immediately get back to RB1 status with a matchup against the Cardinals, who remain the worst defense against fantasy RBs....

Take the Redskins. They have Adrian Peterson, who gets most of the carries and is normally the lead producer in their backfield. However, the team also has Chris Thompson, and he can sometimes catch a lot of passes and make big plays all over the field. That evens the two out in PPR formats, even though Peterson usually gets more touches, as Thompson plays the more important receiving role in the backfield....

The big name to watch this week is Giants TE Evan Engram. After 10 days off thanks to the mini-bye following the Thursday night game, Engram will have extra time to rehab from his MCL sprain. He could return to action as a result, and that would be a big boost to the Giants offense – but most importantly, it will provide a boost to the TE position in fantasy....
