Week 3 is certainly a time to rely on matchup-based sleepers, as a handful of the top fantasy football defenses are taking on tough offenses. The Chiefs and Ravens would normally draw some starting consideration, but they’re taking on each other in what could be a high-scoring game. The same can be said of the Packers-Saints game. That knocks out four defenses that normally would rank in the top half of D/ST rankings....

There aren’t any matchups that really jump out (thanks, in part, to the Colts and Browns playing against each other and thus eliminating two potential streaming options), but the Ravens, who have created 10 turnovers in two games, face turnover-prone Blake Bortles and the Jaguars. Some potential streamers this week include the Packers (vs. Bengals), Rams (@ 49ers), Eagles (vs. Giants), Cowboys (@ Cardinals), and Dolphins (vs. Jets). The Panthers, who have allowed a combined six points so far this season, have a tough test against the Saints offense, and depending on the status of Sam Bradford, the Buccaneers D/ST could move up if Case Keenum starts on Sunday for the Vikings....

We’ve also discovered the opponent that apparently will make every QB into a starting option: Miami. This week, Dak Prescott and the Cowboys host the Dolphins, making them one of the favorites to lead the NFL in total points in Week 3. Prescott threw for more than 400 yards in Week 1 while the Cowboys got Ezekiel Elliott back up to speed. Now, it looks like 300 yards could be more of his ceiling, but against the Dolphins, that very well might come with at least three touchdown passes....

This week, the byes affect the one of the highest-owned kickers, Cowboys’ Dan Bailey, and a top-10 scoring kicker, Bills’ Steven Hauschka, as well as Seahawks’ Blair Walsh and Bengals’ Randy Bullock. The kickers on top offenses are playing against weak defenses that could catapult their stats. This past week, Justin Tucker finally posted his first top-five finish of the season, and Greg Zuerlein, the highest scoring kicker heading into Week 5, finally missed his first FG of the year after going 14/14....

The good news is that we’re keeping in Chris Carson (foot) and putting Christian McCaffrey (ankle) and Dalvin Cook (groin) back in for now, which really strengthens the top of our rankings. But a good finish to the first half of the season means nothing unless we pick games better in the second half of the season, which is getting closer. Week 8 brings a shorter slate but plenty of chances to fly out of the gate. Here are this week’s predictions and prognostications, both against the spread and straight up. As much as guys like Erickson and Amendola balled out in Week 7, we know how bad they’ve been in other weeks, so we can’t elevate them too much in our rankings. The studs are still at the top, while higher-upside volume receivers, such as Jamison Crowder (@ Jaguars), Tyler Boyd (vs. Rams in UK), Dede Westbrook (vs. Jets), and Cole Beasley (vs. Eagles), are placed higher than the more up-and-down, occasionally highly targeted guys....

It’s been a big week for Grand Theft Auto fans. The long-awaited heists released on Tuesday, and after an initial hiccup in the GTA Online service, the heists are now available for players to run. After a year and a half way, we’re happy to report that the heists are quite enjoyable, though we definitely would have liked to receive them earlier. Once the tweet went viral, the internet did what it does best and morphed the concept into a trend taking over Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram. Food is so prevalent in the anime’s many iterations that even games like Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot have cooking elements to find, make, and eat food to improve your character....

For example, the Wendy’s Twitch stream features an Animal Crossing: New Horizons character that looks exactly like the company’s red-headed mascot. They fill their day doing normal Animal Crossing things like catching fish and bugs, but they also paint Frostys. And like with their Twitter account, the person streaming Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Twitch stays in character the entire time. City have been the dominant force in the Premier League this season, and their tally of 31 points and a +31 goal difference is the best return from 11 matches in the competition’s history. Last time out, City were 3-1 victors over the Gunners at the Etihad Stadium in a match that left Wenger seething with the quality of refereeing in the top flight. The Frenchman felt Raheem Sterling had dived to win a penalty from which Sergio Aguero made it 2-0, while insisting David Silva was offside before setting up Gabriel Jesus to wrap up the match after Alexandre Lacazette had halved the deficit....

Despite a second consecutive Premier League defeat, this time at the hands of Chelsea, the Spaniard’s side showed glimpses of the attacking quality and bravery which will almost certainly increase as the rest of the season goes on.
