Violence broke out as cars were lined up at the Wendy’s restaurant at 1920 McFarland Boulevard around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, said Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit Captain Jack Kennedy, according to CBS 42. Police said a suspect pulled up in a car and fired into a second vehicle, WVTM reported. The driver of the second car drove to a nearby apartment complex and called the police. When officers arrived at the complex on Fieldcrest Drive, they found 16-year-old Trinity Shannon dead in the car and a 20-year-old man with non-threatening gunshot wounds....

Our Week 14 fantasy defense rankings reflect that. Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of “high-percentage” sleeper plays. The 49ers and Browns are facing each other, and both are in the top five in fantasy points allowed to D/STs. However, both are in the bottom three in defensive fantasy points. Receiver looks a bit better than it did last week. That’s largely thanks to some better matchups for the mid-tier guys and sleepers. The Bears (@ 49ers), Cowboys (vs. Buccaneers), Browns (vs. Bengals), and Rams (@ Cardinals) all have favorable matchups, and that should make some of their depth options at receiver rise into FLEX territory. Of course, it’s hard to recommend starting guys like Antonio Callaway, Taylor Gabriel, and Josh Reynolds over established WRs, even ones with tough matchups, but they may be your best FLEX options this week....

Rookie running backs are often at the center of any sleeper article, and that’s the case here - we’ve all chosen first-year backs – Antonio Gibson, Joshua Kelley and JK Dobbins – as our Week 3 sleepers in. Joe Burrow joins the party as another rookie, too, and at WR, we like first-year pass-catchers CeeDee Lamb and Michael Pittman Jr. this week. Even with a weird offseason, the rookies are stepping up....

We won’t have a good read on all the injuries until later in the week, so our time right now is better spent analyzing what we should and shouldn’t believe in so far. One team that has us believing in all of its key receivers is the Falcons. They seem intent on throwing the football all over the place, mostly to Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley and Russell Gage. Jones and Ridley are unquestioned every-week starts at this point, while Gage is worth adding and considering in PPR formats and some deeper standard leagues, too....
