Austrian international striker Andreas Weimann gave last season’s Premier League strugglers Aston Villa a much needed morale boost today by signing a new three-year contract. The 21-year-old – who has been at Villa since he was 15 – scored 12 goals last season which helped Villa preserve their status among the elite after struggling for long periods. His goals also earned him the appreciation of manager Paul Lambert, who preferred him to England striker Darren Bent as a strike partner for Belgian star Christian Benteke....

We’re completely fading the Cardinals, which means we’re in trouble if Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins, and Arizona’s D/ST go off, which all could easily do. We also have two “questionable” players among our picks, which could mean big payoffs at low ownership or subpar production because of limited snaps. But we’re in it to win it, not just sneak above the cash line, so let’s take some risks and go for broke....

Beyond McCaffrey, injuries are the RB story of the week. Chris Carson (hip) is done for the season. Josh Jacobs (shoulder) isn’t in our rankings, as he looks shaky at best to play this week. For now, we’ve left in Derrick Henry (hamstring), James Conner (shoulder), and Mark Ingram (calf), although all could be at risk of missing Week 17, too.​ (Update: We’ve removed Ingram based on new reporting.)...
