Only a handful of regularly started D/STs have bad matchups this week, with Houston (@ Chiefs), San Francisco (@ Rams), Minnesota (vs. Eagles), and Philadelphia (@ Vikings) dropping out of the starting tier. Teams like the Ravens (vs. Bengals), Seahawks (@ Browns), and Chiefs (vs. Texans) move up because of decent matchups, but none feel like great options. The same goes for Green Bay (vs. Lions), but a home prime-time game gives them a little boost....

That said, we know QBs have the higher floors and ceilings when you’re deciding between guys lower in the rankings. Fringe starter Tua Tagovailoa was the No.1 player in all of fantasy football last week, and there are a ton of QBs who can accomplish that feat – especially in standard leagues. You should almost always roll with QBs at the superflex spot, even if they are viewed as awful in real-life football....

The Dolphins theme continues further down the sleepers list. At quarterback, Mason Rudolph returns from concussion to play Miami in what could be his friendliest matchup of the season. He’s joined as a QB sleeper by longtime Dolphins’ quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who might be looking at a career revival in Tennessee. Former Dolphins’ wideout Kenny Stills is also on our list, as he’ll start in Houston with Will Fuller V out....

It also helps that some of the younger stars are starting to emerge. O.J. Howard and David Njoku both have performed well in recent weeks (though Njoku’s goose egg last week was frustrating) and they are now top-10 staples, especially in favorable matchups like this week. Those two both find themselves in our top six for Week 9, and as long as they get targets and red-zone opportunities, they should be in good position to put up solid numbers....
