Well, the injuries mean something, of course. For now, Nelson, Beckham, and Randall Cobb are still in our rankings, but if anything changes with their respective statuses, they’ll get bumped out and replacements will get bumped in (Geronimoooooooo!). The disappointments and breakouts are where we’re pumping the brakes, at least a little. We’ve soured on some borderline guys (Zay Jones, we hardly knew thee), but for the most part, we’re still siding with proven veterans and looking to pick on what appear to be favorable matchups....

Given how poorly the Cardinals have played against TEs both weeks, we feel fairly confident that a well-rested Greg Olsen can have a good day against them, and based on what we saw last Thursday, that should mean steady targets. The Dolphins have been nearly as bad, but Jason Witten might need a TD to really pay off. Fortunately, he has five red-zone targets (tied for second most among TEs), so he’s still in a good spot....

Last week, we mentioned that three straight poor or good performances could cause some major shifts, and it has happened. Terrelle Pryor can’t seem to mesh with Kirk Cousins, and the Giants held Alshon Jeffrey to a meager 5.6 fantasy points. On the good side, Stefon Diggs makes a jump into the top 20 after going off with Case Keenum still under center. Allen Hurns has scored a touchdown and received plenty of targets in two straight weeks since Allen Robinson’s injury....

Instead, who knows what meant what in the long run? How should, for example, the Jets, Rams, Ravens, Raiders and Bengals be evaluated based on the Week 3 results? Which were bumps in the road, and which were omens of future play? No game encapsulates that notion better than the doubleheader game, the Raiders at Broncos, who suffered two of the most inexplicable losses of the year, both on the East Coast....

Thankfully, there are more than a couple out there this week. Ricky Seals-Jones (vs. Broncos) and C.J. Uzomah (@ Chiefs) should both be available on the waiver wire, and their favorable matchups and solid target shares should make them good streamers this week. If you’re looking for a deeper sleeper, look no further than James O’Shaughnessy, the newest starting TE for the Jaguars who will get a chance to take on the Texans (who have struggled against the position this year)....

According to WBBJ7 News, Demarrus Pritchett, 23, got into a verbal confrontation with a customer at a Wendy’s drive-thru in Huntingdon on Tuesday night. Surveillance footage allegedly showed shift manager Pritchett as he moved into the kitchen, where he picked up a pan of hot oil. He is alleged to have then walked back to the drive-thru with the hot oil and poured it over the customer through the window....

On a day where Alexis Sanchez was left out of Wenger’s matchday squad for the second week running ahead of an impending move to Manchester United, Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke claimed the Gunners had made a €50 million bid for Aubameyang. Arsenal were far from distracted by any transfer talk at Emirates Stadium as Crystal Palace were swatted aside 4-1, but Wenger insisted the Gabon international’s absence from the Dortmund squad was nothing to do with their reported interest....
