In most cases, the kickers near the top of the rankings are going to be on good offenses and have really good leg strength. Matchups don’t tend to matter as much as other positions, but if they’re going against a weaker defense that allows teams to move the ball more easily, it certainly doesn’t hurt. Still, coach’s decisions regarding fourth-down situations and long field goals aren’t always consistent, so even if you think you really know how a kicker will do, it can be hard to figure out....

If we’re ranking them in order of projected value, Zuerlein would be No. 1, followed by Lutz, then Bryant. Zuerlein is usually the No. 2 kicker in our rankings, behind Tucker, and he might have as much leg talent as anyone in the NFL. Lutz plays in a good offense that has home games in a dome, and he, too, can really boot it. Bryant is still a consistent kicker, but he’s nearing the end of his career and is much more likely to decline than improve as the season goes on....

Arsenal Manager, Arsene Wenger has said that he wouldn’t have voted for Argentine star and Player of the Year Lionel Messi. He said that either Cristiano Ronaldo or Andres Iniesta deserved the prestigious award. Although he agreed that Messi was the best footballer, Wenger said that Ronaldo and Iniesta had helped their respective teams more than Messi. Ronaldo took Real Madrid to great heights to win the Spanish League and Iniesta was named Player of the Tournament in the Euro Championship last year....
Mkhitaryan was hurt in the 61st minute of Arsenal’s 4-1 win over the Russian side in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final on Thursday. The January arrival from Manchester United missed Sunday’s 3-2 win over Southampton and will not be available for the return fixture against CSKA on Russian soil. Wenger has already ruled the 29-year-old out of contention for the upcoming Premier League fixtures against Newcastle United and West Ham too, though he may yet be back for the run-in....
Wenger, 70, spent 22 years in charge of Arsenal until 2018 and had been linked with the vacant managerial position at Bayern Munich in recent weeks, but instead he will take up a new position with the global governing body.
