At this point in the season, you can never sit your studs unless they’re hurt. The only big-time decisions fantasy owners have to make are about what player they believe has the best matchup to be an RB2/3 or WR3 that you can plug into the FLEX spot and get production out of. It’s not easy, but targeting matchup-based FLEX plays is certainly the way to go, especially this week when many RBs have solid matchups.

Week 13 Rankings:Quarterback | Running Back | Wide Receiver | Tight End | D/ST | Kicker

Our FLEX rankings this week are a bit heavier on the RB side than normal. That’s mostly as a result of these potential run-heavy game scripts against weaker run defenses like the Cardinals, Lions, and 49ers. There is still plenty of talent at the WR position though, and they still make up the larger part of our rankings. That’s just the nature of the beast in fantasy football, as a good chunk of the depth in the modern NFL comes at receiver, where many teams use three-WR sets frequently.
