With no teams on bye for just the second time since Week 4, all fantasy rankings are deeper than usual. Even with players like Antonio Gibson (toe) and Josh Jacobs (ankle) dealing with injuries that could keep them out of action, there are plenty of volume-based RBs and high-upside WRs in great matchups to take advantage of. Even the tight end position is looking solid this week.

Per usual, if you’re having a tough time making a decision on a player for the flex spot, target options in good matchups above all else. This week, that includes the Seahawks-Jets game for WRs and players in other potential high-scoring games, like Titans-Jaguars, Packers-Lions, and Chargers-Falcons. Additionally, there are several weak run defenses on the slate, including the Lions, Packers, Panthers, and Jaguars, so there will be plenty of RB flex options like Jamaal Williams that could pan out.

WEEK 14 STANDARD RANKINGS: Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

As always, if you’re looking for max upside at the flex spot, going with a potential boom pick at receiver, like Breshad Perriman (@ Seahawks) or Marquise Brown (@ Browns), is the way to go. If you need a high floor, go with an RB who gets a lot of touches, like Phillip Lindsay (@ Panthers). And once you decide who you will be playing at the flex spot, plug in your player with the latest starting time into that place in your lineup. That will give you more flexibility in case something unexpected pops up on the injury report or via COVID testing (like Dez Bryant’s positive test with less than an hour toward kickoff in the Ravens-Cowboys game).
