While many would assume that guys like Jaylen Samuels, Theo Riddick, and Jeff Wilson Jr. would immediately work into RB2 territory for PPR, it doesn’t always work out that way. For example, Riddick is splitting touches with LeGarrette Blount and Zach Zenner, so he may not get enough carries to outproduce them. And if they get the goal-line work over Riddick, then they may might outproduce him because TDs are so valuable. Hopefully, all of the three-down backs will play, and that will simplify things a bit for us. Still, that seems unlikely.

One of the notable backs that moves down in the PPR format is Gus Edwards. The new Ravens starter has just one catch this season and hasn’t been targeted since becoming the starter at RB. He will still have a high volume of touches, but his value will be entirely predicated on TDs and yardage. It doesn’t look like he will get an opportunity to catch many passes, especially with Ty Montgomery and Kenneth Dixon in the fold.
