We’re banking on Mixon (concussion) and Kamara (concussion) both returning this week, but nothing is set in stone. Likewise, Peterson (neck) and Abdullah (neck) aren’t in our rankings yet, but both could easily suit up. Their replacements have looked good in their absences, but if Peterson and Abdullah return, it might actually muddy the waters for fantasy owners.
Further muddying things are the committees in Minnesota, Carolina, Tampa, Denver, New York (x2), and maybe even Philadelphia and Dallas. Tennessee is never fun to deal with either, but with a matchup against San Francisco this week, both Derrick Henry and DeMarco Murray can eat. Favorable matchups for the Panthers (vs. Packers), Broncos (@ Colts) and Eagles (@ Giants) should keep all of their main backs in play, but as we saw with Jonathan Stewart’s three-TD Week 14, anything can happen in these backfields.
