Luckily, injuries aren’t as big of a concern as they usually have been all year, but Rex Burkhead (knee), Joe Mixon (ankle), Kerwynn Williams (quad), and Samaje Perine (Achilles) are worth monitoring. Among teams who don’t have anything on the line, questionable tags on players will likely mean they won’t play and let the backups see some time. Although the Titans are playing for their playoff lives, DeMarco Murray (knee) is already unlikely to play this week.
The Eagles, Chiefs, and Jaguars all have nothing to play for, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see some backups see more playing time than usual. With Fournette’s injury concerns, he’s a likely candidate to see a reduced amount of playing time, making T.J. Yeldon and Chris Ivory possible flex plays. The Eagles having a committee doesn’t change their RB situation at all, and the Kareem Hunt will likely see a reduced amount of time. Fantasy owners of all these players should find out how teams plan to use their starters throughout the week.
