Thanks to the return of the Browns receivers, the depth of these rankings will be improved. As is always the case, the PPR format creates some extra value at the WR spot, so there is no shortage of quality lineup options to trust, even though owners will likely be without the services of Julio Jones (hamstring) and Kenny Golladay (hip).
WEEK 17 STANDARD RANKINGS:Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
Of course, the depth of these rankings could be taken away quickly by a couple of factors. First, the Chiefs may opt to sit their starters after they put a bow on the No. 1 seed in the AFC with their win over the Falcons. That would mean no Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins, while Patrick Mahomes sitting would take the wind out of the sails of other options.
Meanwhile, the Rams WRs could have some trouble as well. Jared Goff is dealing with a thumb injury in his throwing hand and his backup, John Wolford, has played zero NFL snaps. Wolford could still get the ball to the receivers, but their upside would be capped given that he’s a complete wild card.
