Week 3 Rankings:Quarterback | Running Back | Wide Receiver | D/ST | Kicker
We’d like to think we’re beginning to spot trends in how defenses cover tight ends, but the data is still noisy. For now, the three Ts – talent, track record, and targets – rule the day, with a fourth “T”, touchdowns, also being of note. However, as much as touchdowns tend to make or break a TE’s week, touchdown opportunities (i.e. red-zone targets) are often just as important when looking forward. Getting into the end zone can be a fluky thing, so it’s important to know who’s getting the most chances. We factor in all that and more in our Week 3 rankings.
Reminder: We will keep these rankings updated and add analysis during the week, so check back often. And if you’re looking for more analysis, find out how you’ll lose in Week 3 or listen to the Week 3 preview podcast.
