The cost of the shack-with two double bedrooms (one up, one down), bath with shower, towels and linens, daily cleaning service, ceiling fan, mosquito net, sandy beach, shady palm trees, warm breeze off the Bay of Bengal, and the Buddhist temple next door-$11.62 per night. Breakfasts for four of fresh papaya, pineapple, bananas, eggs and toast and coffee, served on our upper-deck’s veranda by a local crone, is thrown in free.
