FIVE STAR1. New England Patriots @ Chiefs2. Carolina Panthers @ Ravens. The Panthers should put last week’s embarrassing performance behind them.3. Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Buccaneers. The Steelers aren’t great, but the Bucs are terrible.

4. Detroit Lions @ Jets. The Jets are mistake prone, meaning the Lions have a chance to secure some takeaways.5. San Diego Chargers vs. Jaguars. It’s the Jags, and they may have a rookie quarterback under center.6. San Francisco 49ers vs. Eagles. We’re not ready to write off the Niners as an elite-level defense, but a matchup with the Eagles isn’t ideal.

7. Buffalo Bills @ Texans. Ryan Fitzpatrick isn’t scaring anybody.8. Indianapolis Colts vs. Titans. The Colts may not be a good defense, but Jake Locker isn’t a good quarterback.9. Houston Texans vs. Bills10. Baltimore Ravens vs. Panthers. The big question in the office this week: How long before Steve Smith Sr. inserts himself into the defensive lineup?11. Miami Dolphins vs. Raiders (in London). It’s the Raiders. Pick on them.12. New York Jets vs. Lions13. New Orleans Saints @ Cowboys. There will be plenty of points scored, but the Cowboys always seem to manage to give the ball away.
