The most prominent name who could be on your waiver wire is Seahawks TE Will Dissly. A week after catching five passes for 50 yards and two scores, Dissly reeled in six balls for 62 yards and a late garbage-time touchdown in Week 3. He gets a matchup with the Cardinals in Week 4, who have allowed the most fantasy points to TEs in 2019. Dissly would’ve been in consideration for our top 10 this week regardless of matchup after his two good weeks, but playing against Arizona is too good to pass up.

O.J. Howard owners have to be a little encouraged by his Week 3 usage after zero targets in Week 2. He received four targets, catching three for 66 yards. That’s still much-lower usage than Howard received last season, but it was good enough that you’ve got to run him out there in your fantasy lineup for another week. He’s still one of the most talented TEs in football.

WEEK 4 PPR RANKINGS: Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end

It might be time to move on from Jared Cook, who was targeted twice by Teddy Bridgewater. He caught one pass for seven yards and had a bad drop on the other target. His usage was already down compared to 2018 in Oakland even when Drew Brees was healthy. Now that Bridgewater is playing QB, there are simply better options than Cook, though another favorable matchup on paper against the Cowboys makes him a real wild card.

In Minnesota, the changing of the TE guard might be happening earlier than expected. While Kyle Rudolph continues to play heavy snaps, it’s rookie Irv Smith Jr. who has been the best receiving tight end for the Vikings so far. It’s not an overly intriguing passing system, but in deeper leagues or for owners still holding onto Rudolph, Smith’s three catches for 60 yards in Week 3 (compared to Rudolph’s one target) might be the way to go.

Elsewhere in rookie tight end land, T.J. Hockenson has had two poor weeks after a big NFL debut. He could bounce back in a solid matchup against Kansas City in Week 4. His former Iowa teammate, Noah Fant, obviously has athleticism but doesn’t look to be a Year 1 fantasy option playing with Joe Flacco, though a favorable Week 4 matchup against the Jaguars makes him a sleeper in deeper formats and DFS contests.
