Just be glad we don’t have any significant receivers from the Jets and 49ers on bye this week or things would get really complicated.
WEEK 4 NON-PPR RANKINGS:Quarterback | Running back | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
With just three games played, it’s still tough to know what’s a trend and what’s an aberration. Someone like DJ Chark, who’s scored in every game this year, is obviously due to regress, but how much? On the flipside, which Calvin Ridley is going to show up this week – the one who seemed like an heir apparent to Julio Jones in Week 2 or the one who saw just one target in Week 3? While some players look like they’re going to be season-long disappointments (Jarvis Landry, Corey Davis, Will Fuller), others continue to shine (Chark, Tyrell Williams). As much as we try to trust the talent, some trends can’t be ignored. We saw guys like John Ross and Hollywood Brown come back to Earth last week, but overall they still look more good than bad.
WEEK 4 PPR RANKINGS: Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end
Heading into Week 4, there are plenty of matchups that stand out, both as favorable (Sterling Shepard vs. Redskins; Terry McLaurin @ Giants) and bad (Diggs, Adam Thielen @ Bears, John Brown vs. Patriots). It can be tough sit a normally productive player, but the numbers are getting to be more reliable, so don’t necessarily just start who you always start. It’s time to adjust.
