Even more unfortunate is that several normal starting units have bad matchups (Lions, Steelers, Texans, Broncos), making it tough to find anyone you’d actually feel comfortable playing. The Vikings are clearly the best option, and both the Bengals (available on the waiver wire in many leagues) and Eagles look solid, but after that, who do you really feel good about?
Aside from the Bengals, the Saints (vs. Bears), Falcons (@ Jets), and Dolphins (@ Ravens) are your best pickup options in most leagues, but unless the Saints can capture their home magic of a couple weeks ago, the ceilings don’t appear super high for those mediocre units. Take what you can get and move on – that’s about all you can do this week.
