Some of the league’s best fantasy players are out as a result of all the byes. At running back, Joe Mixon, David Johnson, Marlon Mack, and Saquon Barkley are all off. At receiver, Alshon Jeffery is out and Golden Tate gets the dreaded double-bye after his trade from the Lions to the Eagles. Both Bengals receivers, A.J. Green and Tyler Boyd, are also idle, while Odell Beckham Jr. and Larry Fitzgerald are both on bye, as well. That’s a lot of talent, and the thin player pool makes it a bit more difficult to identify exactly which lower-level flex play fantasy owners may want to target this week.
