Shipment and Shoot House are two of the most popular maps in Call of Duty, but Modern Warfare 2 didn’t launch with either of them. Shoot House was added to MW2 when Season 1 came out alongside the release of Warzone 2, so fans can now play on both of these maps. Shipment is one of the most chaotic maps in the Call of Duty franchise, and players can sometimes encounter funny and unexpected incidents.

A Reddit user named itscdub has shared a video of them going prone to kill an enemy in a match on Shipment in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The user itscdub fires several shots at the opponent using a single-shot weapon, but all of them miss as the other player appears to have danced around them by constantly moving left and right. The poster gets killed and seems impressed by the movement skills showcased by their opponent, but the kill cam reveals that something isn’t quite right.

As per this kill cam, the other fan barely moves before killing the Modern Warfare 2 player with a throwing knife. It also reveals that the opponent too missed a few shots with their pistol, presumably due to itscdub’s position on the ground.

Aside from the comments directed at the poster’s gameplay choices, many gamers believe this to be a packet loss or lag issue in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. According to another user, the problem may be due to the game trying to predict the other player’s movement. This seems to be a common grievance, as many Call of Duty fans mention running into issues related to packet loss and latency.

One player claims to have been complaining about the netcode since Modern Warfare 2 launched and mentions that it has gotten worse after the latest update. In the end, it looks like the other user’s extremely fast movement abilities were simply due to a connection issue.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
